I'm so glad you found my new website. Let me introduce myself.

I have been singing professionally on concert, musical theater and cabaret stages in the U.S., Europe and Latin America for years. I have always felt a deep connection to the songs of Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Broadway's great composers ... the "Great American Songbook". I was, however, trained in the classical genres of opera and oratorio.

It was in high school in the Chicago area that I was bitten by the performing "bug". I was one of 16 high school students (along with Mandy Patinkin!) chosen from over 1,000 who auditioned, for an original musical produced for the local NBC Television affiliate in Chicago. Jerry Van Dyke hosted the hour-long musical presentation. My fate was sealed! I went on to study voice at Valparaiso University followed by the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago.

I started my professional career performing with the Lyric Opera of Chicago where I spent three years. That led to solo work with many fine orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, Alabama Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony, ArsViva of Chicago and the Bellas Artes of Mexico City, among many others. I made my Eupopean debut as Cunegonde in Bernstein's "Candide" at the Festival de Musica de Canarias in the Canary Islands.

I love singing in smaller venues and have done many "one-woman" cabaret shows. The intimacy of the setting feeds my passion for connecting with the audience.

The bottom line is -- I love to sing! And I will tailor my performance to your needs, whether for a production show, a small caberet setting, a private cocktail, luncheon or dinner function, or even a wedding.

P.S. I hope you enjoy the selections from my CD, "I Have Dreamed".
